this begun as an inside joke/way to cheer up a friend who was bummed out, then i just got way too into it. the image graced many a t-shirt, given as holiday gifts to close friends. apparently the shirts were popular - friends tell me people ask where to get them every time they wear them out.
this led to the thought of selling them. at first i wasn't interested - i thought it would be cool if two strangers wearing them crossed paths - they'd both know they were cool in my book, kind of like a secret club. but then i thought "school is effing expensive" and decided to give it a shot. if you're interested, email classyshirts@gmail.com. i'm looking into devart's product-making process, which would make it easier for peeps to buy, but for now it's the old-fashioned way.
for those interested in process, please note that this is not a manipulated photo collage. this was created entirely with the brush tool in photoshop (and the text tool, but even the text was modified with the brush). the original is 5"x5", 300DPI. if i knew when i started that i'd end up liking it so much, i would've done it at a higher resolution. lesson learned.
as much as i hate watermarks, i hate getting ripped off even more. sorry, it's just a cruel, cruel world.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
